We love it.

This book series is great for what it is. The most basic entry into music and a new instrument. If you have a music background, get something more advanced. It's made for individual or use with a group and comes with a CD. It starts super simply and works up to basic music. It also has a level two book you can purchase.

My daughter has been using it for her first year in band...it was required, but it's also a great music book.

My daughter music teacher asked for it and it worked. She started playing the Bassoon this year!

the title is a bit misleading. I should have read the description a little better before buying. My daughter needs the Essential Elements 2000 bassoon book for band and this is the reason i purchased this one. This one is however not the 2000 book but it is compatible with the Essential Elements. The Book did come in good condition so I am taking a star off for the misleading title.
