BLU Studio Selfie 3 -GSM Unlocked Smartphone - Black

Very nice phone. Clear and crisp display, and the blu has noticeably increased the touch-sensitivity of their screens. Very good responsiveness and app start-up times. Came with a bare-bones silicone case, (which is better than nothing, don't get me wrong), the phone, a charger and USB wall adapter, and a tool to remove the SD card tray. Blu used to include a heavy-duty, custom made screen protector with their phones as well as headphones; the "screen protector" with this one is a very light-duty clear sticker which came pre-applied to the phone, and no headphones were included (no big issue). I'll probably end up getting a higher-quality screen protector later on, but the included one is a good in-between. This is my 3rd Blu phone, and I am satisfied again. I did have to use scissors to cut my SIM card down to size as this phone takes nano SIMS, the smallest size currently available. And the fact that Blu makes you format your SD card to the phone is kind of inconvenient. I lost all the data on my SD card out of my old Blu when I transferred it because I was unable to back up the data, and I had to format it to my new phone in order to use it; thus destroying my music, pictures, apps, etc. I can rebuild, but that is a negative if you don't use cloud storage for everything. As with my previous Blu phones, this one's RAM gets used up quick if you're switching between apps, but if you download a booster like CleanMaster and close out of apps when you're done, you can keep it going smoothly. I expect to get a good 8-12 months out of this phone.

I bought this smartphone for my 11 y.o. daughter. I thought it was smaller, but its size is perfect. The camera is very colorful and the speakers sound very clear. It seems to be a resistant device... let's see in some months in my kid hands.

I read a lot of questions and answers about this phone and i almost didn't buy it. But I am a fan of Blu Phones so I bought it anyway. So to clear up some of the questions. Yes this phone does work. Must be fully charged and the battery life I've gotten so far is 5 hours. I am with T-mobile and i have the small sim card(which is needed for this device) If your phone didn't come on when you first received it, its probably because it was needed to be charged, my phone was only on 13% when i received it. But it works just as good as any other phone. This phone doesn't have a built in music app which i will miss but everything works greats. Also I love the camera quality on this phone. I hope this helps someone.

Charger was not in the box! Also kept asking for a pin # on initial start up had to do a hard reset to make it run! Makes you wonder if it was truly new! As Chinese would say "be chairful"! Update: phone was replaced with a new one everthing's ok. Phone works well. Seller was very acvomodating!

I really like this phone but for 2 drawbacks. Even though it has Android 8, BLU chose to NOT support the Multiple\Guest User feature, something I must have. When using the Auto On\Off feature my sound settings get mucked up EVERY morning & I need to reset them. Can't live with either problem & BLU was basically no help. Just ordered a new Motorola X4 to replace it.

This phone actually ran fairly well. Only 8g so format SD for internal. Very slick to hold tho. Best for back up phone. Some glitches. I don't think I'd buy again. Thanks

BLU - Studio Selfie 3Studio Selfie 3 is sold as dual SIM but producer and seller omit the fact that it is only dual SIM if you won't be using Micro SD card to expand memory. Another conveniently omitted thing is capacity of battery and that it is not replaceable. Basically you buy a disposable phone but I guess that is the new trend with cheaper phones. Since it is sold by and fulfilled by Amazon, I've been disappointed with those missing facts and would expect better up front information about products they sell.Aesthetically very nice cellphone but its on heavy side when it comes to its weight. Case is not entirely aluminium and it doesn't open. Good resolution, bright screen with quick response to touch albeit that wasn't tested on games. Pictures taken with its camera are good but front lens produces less crispy images than the main one. Decent sound but not too generous with bass tones and rather limited volume. Perhaps that and cost savings are the reasons BLU decided not to include even basic headphones. So far it has provided solid WiFi connection and playback of popular media formats. It is GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 and 3G:UMTS 850/1700/1900/2100. Out of box battery was loosing charge very quickly but after first solid charging it seems to hold energy for days although I haven't used it much so it is mostly based on standby mode.You get in a box1. handset2. transparent silicone case3. two in one charger/data cable4. a pin("tool provided") to open mini trayOnce again to underscore that you can only insert/install two Nano SIM cards or one Nano SIM + one MicroSD cards.

Bought this phone as a replacement for my other Blu phone which I cracked the screen on. Design-wise, the phone is really nice to look at but that's pretty much where it ends. when I got the phone, the pre-installed system apps already took up 3-4GB of the 8GB storage the phone is supposed to come with. Any extra apps that normally come with the phone (such as some social media apps, music app, email app) had to be downloaded externally from google play. The main camera and front camera take decent pictures in good lighting (meaning natural sunshine), but when natural light is taken out of the equation (like on a cloudy day or when only using indoor lights), the photos are, for lack of a better word, awful. In addition to this, the 1GB of RAM made it almost impossible to use the apps I enjoy using as the phone would quickly run out of ram within an hour of being turned on and I'd find myself having to restart the phone 2 or 3 times a day just to get it to open websites on the internet or update my social media timelines. I also had to do a factory reset on the phone within 2 weeks of receiving it just so that I cold get it to load things. There were also a few times where it would out of nowhere stop sending texts to people on my contact list until I did a factory reset so that it would work again. In the time I was using the phone (April, 2018-October 2018), I think I had to do three factory resets just so that I could get it working somewhat normally.For the most part, when I was having issues with the internet, I was able to text, call, and take pictures just fine, so if you're not someone who uses the internet a whole lot on your phone then I recommend it. I've since replaced it with something much better & I truly don't see myself buying another Blu phone again.

Arrived in jig time, two days from order to delivery. Works great.. No issues. Inserted the Sim Card and downloaded the Manuel from their website everything simple and straightforward.. Only four stars because I haven't had it long enough to comment on durability but so far everything is functioning well. And all at a super price.

This is such a scam in the description they describe other phones specs and hide the specs of the phone you get in a scroll. I believe bku would be a good phone had they not scammed with this tactic may reccomend a better version.

Everything works well. The screen is clear and the camera is great. No problems so far. The phone doesn't have a lot of memory, but this can be easily solved with a memory card. Also the phone looks very nice.
