NCAA Alabama Crimson Tide Washer Toss Game

I bought this to take to the beach for my vacation. This washer game was perfect for the sand. It is light/easy enough to carry all the way from the condo down to the beach. We played all day long. It is also made very well, it is not cheap looking!

I was very excited to order this washer toss, as we are true Notre Dame fans. The pictures of the product looked like just what we wanted for upcoming tailgate events and campouts. The picture showed the wooden box painted in Notre Dame blue, with the bean bags and washers in the school colors of Blue and Gold (or yellow). For the $59.99 price tag, we expected a nice quality product, and at least as advertised. Boy were we wrong! The item was NOT as pictured at all. It was just a natural wood color box with some Notre Dame stickers stuck on it. The washers and bean bags were Red and Blue. What red has to do with Notre Dame is anyones guess. The box said it was to have game instructions in it, which it did not. AND TO TOP it all off, the cups in both halves of the boxes were broken off the wooden bases!!!! The glue had let go and the short staples had pulled away, leaving the cups just rolling around in the boxes. I was very disappointed as we planned on using this for this Easter weekend. I'm not one to return products or even write reviews but I want anyone that is thinking of purchasing this item to BEWARE!!!! I will be keeping it, and attempting to use Gorilla glue to put the cups back in place, but I doubt the extreme banging from flying metal washers into them will hold up. I may have to try using hardware and screwing them into the base. What a waste of $59.99. Worst product and sham I have EVER purchased on Amazon. Even the box it comes in from the factory has instructions right on it with what to do if it comes damaged!! So they must know and obviously expect problems! Way Way too much hassle for me to have to contact them to tell them what a shady NON LICENSED COLLEGE product they are trying to pass off as "high quality". AWFUL!!!! BOOO, and shame on them.

First of all, I will say the produce is functional and that's about the only thing I can say good about it. If you are planning to buy beware of the following- The box is not black. It's a cheap wood laminate type finish that will scratch easy and look like garbage after a couple plays. If it were black you would be able to touch up the paint finish- The rings are NOT black and gold. They are red and blue- The bags are NOT black and gold. They are red and blue.- When I ordered it they sent Texas decals and not Iowa. The seller did resend the right decals but said the bags and rings do not come in black and gold.- Essentially you could go buy any version of this game and put some Hawkeye stickers on it and have the same thing.All in all, it's not a bad product but be prepared to get something different than you see.

Overall I found this washer set disappointing. The NCAA logos are just stickers smacked on the box, and on the set I received, the were quite noticeably crooked! Also, the bean bags and washers don't match the team colors, guess they are just the standard red & blue shown on the pic.My set arrived damaged (apparently someone along the way had dropped the box?): the corner of the washer-box itself was dented and the veneer was peeling. I returned this set and bought a set of similar quality for half the price (no NCAA logo, though) at Wal-Mart.

My first concern was construction! However, the game was made well and had taken a good amount of punishment as the whole family got a huge kick out of playing this simple game. The bean bags were great in doors! If I could change one thing. Place the stickers on it before you ship it. Although, it did give my soon-to-be son-in-law the option of not putting them on.

Overall I'm very happy with this game, as the bean bags are well made, the washers have a good weight to them, and the case/boards are good quality. We played it for an hour straight after I gave it to my Dad for Christmas, and it's definitely a fun game that should hold up for a long time. The only negative I have to say is that it definitely would not make you think "wow, this is a really nice $55 gift"... you'd think it was more like $30. But I suppose that's the premium for having the LSU colors, and if it's a gift for someone who both loves LSU and this type of game and you're more concerned about the gift being liked than the price tag, I definitely highly recommend it. I don't regret having bought it and would certainly buy it again for the right person.

I love USC and I love playing a variety of washer toss games. This washer toss set turns into a handy carrying case for your washers and allows for great storage. Pretty sturdy wooden box. I also like that the washers have a protective coding on them. I would definitely recommend this product to others!

I bought this for my brother for Christmas, as he happens to be a recent MSU alum, and I thought it would be great for tailgating - I was wrong.It was shipped to me in a much bigger box than the actual game itself, with no insulation or bubble wrap to protect it, which meant that the wooden frame was completely destroyed in transit (e.g. huge digs out of it, multiple scratches, etc.). Additionally, both of the metal latches used to keep the box closed had fallen off and need to be re-attached (assuming I can find the necessary hardware to do this on my own). And to make matters worse, the description advertises that mini bean bags would be included - They were not (only the washers were)I am a Prime customer and have used Amazon almost exclusively for my holiday shopping over the past several years, and I have never been so disappointed in a product - This is a waste of money and I would suggest not buying it.
