Lightspeed Outdoors Sun Shelter with Clip-Up Privacy Feature

This is my first cabana & I did a lot of reasearch prior to buying. I am very impressed with my purchase. A few of the things that were imp to me were, floor, privacy Windows, ease of putting up & taking down . This cabana met all of these expectations. It is very lightweight with carrying case and I was able to put up in a matter of seconds. It does take a few times putting up to get the hang of it, but so easy. I had so many people stop & ask where I got it and were very impressed. I'd recommend this to anyone

Very happy with our new shade tent! The beach we like going to has permanent large umbrellas built all around, but we went on a very hot day and all the umbrellas were used up - so glad I had this back up waiting in the trunk! Only problem I had is that I'm 5'4" and couldn't reach the top to pull the handle straight up, so I had to turn the tent onto it's side, but the tension poles kept it from lining up straight so I really struggled, but once I got it I was very happy with it. Our beach doesn't allow tent steaks so I used the sand pockets and it worked perfectly. The quality seems very high, the tent is stutdy and maintained its shape, and was a snap to collapse. I have seen other tents that were a little smaller that would have been easier for me to put up by myself, but I really wanted a larger one with large windows on all 3 sides for ventilation, and the privacy feature for changing out of our wet suits. I am still very happy with the size even though it's tough for shorties - I'm thinking about bring our flat top cooler next time so I can use it as a step stool...we'll see how that works. The tent is very spacious inside with plenty of room for a couple of beach chairs (I have the low ones which allowed lots of head room,) our cooler, beach bag, etc., and we loved the storage pockets - there is even a little flat 2 pocket mesh one overhead handy to slip my phone in for easy access and away from all the sand. The 3 large windows help with air circulation and hook close when needed. It did get hot when the sun is scorching above, but still better than having to sit in the hot sun - our solution was to throw a beach towel over the top to help block the sun better (helps dry the towel out too!) It is a little heavy for a weakling like me, but the camp chair style carrying bag makes it tolerable. My daughter and I are very sensitive to the sun, so this was a necessity for us to still be able to enjoy the beach, and this tent has everything I was looking for. I would buy again and highly recommend!

As for the speed, the time needed to set it up and take it down is about 2mn at the most (with stakes in place). It's like opening and closing a big umbrella.It's very spacious and the height is more than sufficient for a beach shelter.The floor lining is strong. The shelter comes with 8 plastic stakes that are adapted for beach use. It's always a good thing to add (like for a tent) more stakes, in case the wind gets stronger and you need to use the guy lines, or if you use your shelter in a harder terrain.I like the fact that the window closures are not zippers, less problematic and easily fixable.As far as durability, it seems very well constructed, but time will tell.I strongly recommend this product.I strongly recommend this product.

This is a great tent. I am a researcher, and I was well versed in these tents before I decided on this one. I have a 2 month old, and I wanted to keep him well protected at the beach without him getting too hot underneath.Pros:1. this thing is huge. I compared multiple other tents from Lightspeed, among other companies, and this one seemed to be the biggest "cabana" style tent2. Large screened in windows allow for plenty of airflow to keep it cool3. It has a small awning that sticks out to get a little more shade4. Large floor that extends out beyond the tent5. carrying sleeve/case that easily fits the tent when reinserting6. $63 for this quality of tent is very reasonable7. It is surprisingly lightweight and easily transported to the beach. It's also much smaller than a large 10x10 canopy style tent.Cons:1. stakes that come with it are pretty small, so I used other stakes. They may have been fine, but I didn't want to risk the tent flying away with my 2month old in tow. It does come with strings attached to the tent for tying to the stakes.2. Limited on color options, but I'm personally fine with this color3. The windows don't zip. This can be a pro or con honestly. Since they loosely tac up, it does allow for air to flow through, but someone may prefer zips.All in all, I absolutely recommend this. My wife loves it as well.

Used this tent a couple of times now at the beach and it is fantastic.High quality yet light weight and super-easy to open and pack up.Doesn't take up much space in the car once packed up and is easy to carry for long walks to the beach.This tent is a savior for beaches where there is little shade or the shade is too far away from where you want to be.Very well priced and great value. Highly recommended.

Product arrived quickly and in perfect condition with all its parts. Large, airy, weather resistant and the design doesn't impede my view. Room enough for beach gear and a couple of adults. With the base flap up, it is definitely private and roomy enough to change. Set up and take down are fast and painless so I spent more time lounging at the beach in comfort! I really do love it. One recommendation: It needs to be pegged in the sand with the included plastic pegs, or metal pegs if on grass, or the breeze will catch it. I also used the extra guy ropes it has, to peg it down when it got windier before a storm, then quickly packed it up just before the rain! I totally recommend a Lightspeed outdoors to anyone like me who needs a little protection from the sun, without the hassle of putting something together. I'm having fun at the beach now.

Just as expected. Arrived on time. We owned one of these a couple year back but it unfortuantely got broken. Its big enough to stand up in and its very spacious, We love it.

As described.Very easy and fast set up.Take down just as quick.Would recommend to anyone.

It is generally great. Using it as a beach sun shelter. Fits two adults and two toddlers easily.
