RotoZip ZM5 Zip Mate Kit

I have used it to cut concrete bricks and pavers with a diamond saw. It works great. No problems at all. Cuts right through them. The assemble instructions were a little vague. It took me a little practice to get using it effectively, but I expected that. I wish it allowed me to use a larger blade to make a deeper cut, but it is what it is.

Good product, performs well. Guard can be cumbersome and prevents blade from getting close enough to desired cut line. This is my second ZM5. First failed due to improperly manufactured flexible drive shaft. It was in warranty, but I found no way to contact RotoZip to see if warranty service was available.

Works well. Only issue is that you can't see the blade with the cover on it. Had to remove the blade cover in order to make some precise cuts.

For a tool of this price and brand, you'd think the manufacturer would notice that most of their reviews are 1 star. I barely used the ZM5 before it failed. I cut about 20 ft of half inch plywood along my foundation, nothing especially tough in terms of materials, then like every one else, the blade stops but the tool keeps producing torque.

There is nothing on the box or the Rotozip website that says what parts fit what models. This does not work on a RZ1. Bosch needs to do a better job at documenting their tools.

Used this item to work on my truck, didn't think it was gonna do the job, boy was I wrong. Perfect result's.

Great tool

This item worked well, but the RotoZip itself is not made well. If you do not mind buying replacement parts after a few uses then I guess this item and the RotoZip will work.

I originally purchased a RotoZip 2000 a few years ago and the Zip Mate failed when the wire drive shaft snapped. I'm hoping the new one will last longer than the first one, as I like the versatility that this attachment allows.

Used it liked it. No blades in the kit.
