Rachael Ray Dinnerware Little Hoot 16-Piece Porcelain Dinnerware Set, White -

I just received the Rachael Ray Little Hoot Dinnerware Set. I ordered 3 sets of the 16-piece (enough for 12 people), and also the pasta bowls. They arrived in one day and were packaged beautifully--every single piece is intact, there are no chips, dents, scratches or smudges on any piece. This set is definitely not for everyone, but for me it's perfect for an everyday set.I have a mid-century modern home with a retro feel to it, so the colors are perfect, and the owl is such a fun little detail. The colors and design make the set modern but homey, and not overly feminine like many dish designs can be. With a family of 4, I really only needed enough for 8, but I love this so much that I ordered for 12 so that I can replace pieces if/when they break in the future. However, I think that these will last a long time--they are sturdy and don't seem like they will break easily. I accidentally dropped a mug while unpacking them, and it just rolled onto the floor--no chips or breaks!If you have been eyeing these up, buy them. You won't be disappointed!

A great and heavy duty set! These are some of the most heavy duty plates I have held. They are really nice and sturdy to the point that it can take a little bang on the counter with no problem. The designs are done well and my fiance loves the owl portions of the design. They look great and are really nice for the price in comparison to some sets! We've been using these for over a year now and they still look great and have had not issues with these at all! Recommended for the owl lovers. 10/10 would buy again.

This is a beautiful little set! Not too cutesy so that my husband feels weird using it. We have had it for a couple of weeks, and it seems to be holding up. We have used sharp steak knives on it, with no problems. Love that you can put it in the dishwasher too. It is a lighter weight set, so if you are used to the heavy Corel wear, this may seem a little too light.I will be buying more settings!

We have been using these as our daily dishes for almost a year, and I have mixed feelings about them. They are certainly cute (our children love them) and despite being washed almost daily in the dishwasher we haven't had many issues with chipping. Only one plate has chipped and that was dropped onto a brick patio by a five year old. However the pattern is wearing off the side plates, which are used by our children as dinner plates. We haven't been feeding our offspring sulphuric acid or anything that one wouldn't expect crockery to withstand, and despite our entreaties for more sophisticated eating habits the children only occasionally use cutlery - so scraping the pattern off with silverware is not a factor. Though we got a good deal on this dinnerware set, even at a low price I would not recommend them or buy them again. In fact we will soon be looking for a replacement.

I bought two of these sets for my wife, who likes the owl theme very much.I like almost everything about the set - I'd like it if the mugs were just a bit bigger, but only because I like a large cup of coffee.Even with two sets I will be buying more plates - as a family of 5 we go through dishes quickly.According to my wife, the owl at the bottom of the bowl is the best part of finishing a meal.

I love these dishes! They are really fun and adorable to use, with fun colors. They are closer to "retro" colors but that is what I wanted. They are very sturdy, and haven't chipped or broken, even when my they get accidentally banged around putting them up. I liked them so much I asked for a second set for Christmas to be able to use them as my daily dishes.

Love Rachel Ray!!One of the bowls had a small chip in the top....that eventually led to a crack. :-( the bowl had to be discarded. I kept using because it wasn't that noticeable... So long story short... I'm short one bowl!😞 I still love them inspire of my stupidity in not returning the chipped bowl!

The colors are beautiful. The little owl adorable. Very durable. The 2 sizes of plates are perfect for my daughter and her family. Large for the adult and smaller for the children. Bowls are just the right size for cereal or salad bowls, if you don't wish to use a plate. I bought her 2 sets so she can have her parents over for dinner!!.

Me encanta todo lo que tenga que ver con Rachael Ray, sus artículos son muy prácticos y vistosos. Esta vajilla no fue la excepción, su estilo es "vintage", muy simpático, pues el plato para sopa tiene un búho en el centro. Buena calidad, no puedo esperar a organizar una reunión y presumirla. Llegó perfectamente empacada y a tiempo.

They are heavy weighted and are definitely not shatter proof... one slid about a foot out of my hand and shattered on the counter... The pattern is fine but definitely not what I expected from a Rachel Ray product.
