its hard to find 2 lb. med balls so finding this and having it delivered as quick as body solid did made this purchase easy. The med ball is durable and put it right to work.

This medicine ball has a nice slight texture that keeps your hands from slipping when using it. It is very solid and does not have a strong rubber odor like some do.

This is a good ball for a good price, but check the competition as the prices seem to fluctuate. The weight is correct, and although it appears slightly less textured on its surface, it's actually easier to grip than, for example, a Valeo, unless your hands are soaked in sweat. Note, though, that it's slightly larger than some other medicine balls of the same weight. If you're going to be balancing on them to do push-ups, make sure the manufacturer matches whatever other medicine balls you might have already. Otherwise, this may be the best bang for your buck.

Since I exercise regularly, I should have decided to get a heavier ball.I got used to 6 lbs in just a couple of days, but no regrets.I am planning to get a heavier one - I believe 12 lbs would be perfect for me.This could be a turn off or some who might dislike the smell of rubber.Thank you amazon!

I purchased a 2lb medicine ball to do physical therapy on my shoulder at home. The ball was used very lightly over the course of about 2 months - the rubber on the exterior of the ball cracked apart and the bladder on the inside of the ball leaked and would no longer hold air pressure. The ball is a 2lb piece of trash now, and when I called Body Solid to ask for a replacement they simply said there is no warranty on the item and to just buy a new one. Absolutely ridiculous customer service, from a company that wants to sell you their trash, and keep you buying more of it as it fails/falls apart.
