Grape Grower's Handbook Perfect Paperback – August 1, 2013

I am a graduate student at Fresno State earning my Masters in Viticulture & Enology. This book is a very practical and user friendly book for fundamental principles. The chapters are well thought out. The only problems I have is that 1. there is an embarrassingly high amount of typos in this book, but nothing that would confuse the reader and 2. some of the topics are lacking in detail. But this is definitely a great book and I greatly appreciate the references at the end of each chapter. Also you cannot beat the price point, very reasonable. If you are looking for something more scientifically technical regarding vine physiology, I would highly recommend Markus Kellers "Science of Grapevines" while this book is more production oriented.

An incredible manual, with plenty of scientific information explained in a practical and clear manner. This is a must for anybody that is involved or is a student of viticulture.

Very informative book, it covers a lot of important topics and makes a good reference manual for grape growers. It is less technical than some books on viticulture, while still covering subjects in suitable depth.
