This Polarized Reader/Bifocal Sunglass is the perfect solution for those who want to enjoy the outdoors without squinting or reaching for a second pair of glasses in order to read books, fine print or tying knots while fishing and hunting.

1-1/2 to 2 stars (Down from my original 4 star review after purchase)
When originally purchased, I liked these glasses. However, after only four or five wearings - they broke right at the nose frame when taking them off my head. Unfortunate. I see no warrantee and have contacted the manufacturer with no reply (yet).I don't think I abused them in any way. They mainly just sat in the case in my car. I don't really wear sunglasses a lot. But, I did remove them 'one-handed', and maybe need to use two hands to even pressure on the frame on both sides... but see no such 'instructions'.If they weren't so expensive, for what I consider a fairly cheaply manufactured product, I would probably try them again and be more careful. For that - I'd be looking for $39.95 prices... that is really what I would say these are worth...Others may have no issues with breakage. They seem like reasonable quality. Comparable to plastic frames you get in any gas station. But in this case, frankly, I have had my gas station purchases hold up better. I was just unlucky, I'm guessing. (Maybe they were even cracked when I bought them).

Quality is getting worse
My first pair lasted over two years before they needed replacing due to wear. My second pair lasted less than two years before the frame broke. My third and last pair lasted nine months before the frame broke. First two came with a hard plastic case and cloth pouch, however, the last pair came with only a cloth pouch. The first pair are my backup sunglasses. The other two pairs are in the trash. The optics of the sunglasses are great. The lenses are fairly scratch resistant and durable. The readers work great. The third pair I ordered were 2.0 and the box said 2.0, however, the actual sunglasses were 1.75. Close enough that I didn't need to return.I am going to go with a different brand this time. I would have bought them again, if the quality of the frames hadn't declined.

Pretttty good.
Lightweight, good wrap-around design with excellent sun coverage from the sides/peripheral view. And they definitely look good, at least on average sized faces. The reader area of the lens at the bottom is of decent quality and is clear. Personally, I would've preferred for it to be about 10% larger on the lens. As it is, these proportions are just right for driving and reading the dashboard or a lower-placed GPS. (Conversely, they're a little less effective when not driving and trying to read anything else like a phone or magazine or a sign - you have to raise your head and swivel your eyes down.)Otherwise, there was a noticeable plastic/rubber smell for about 3-4 weeks after using them, which eventually went away. Mine must have been very recently manufactured! Also, the wrap-around fit is just a little snug, and my hat size is only about a 7 1/2, so my head's not exactly a big melon! They will almost certainly never fall off, probably not even on some of the best roller coaster rides, or bumpiest boat rides, but a slightly looser fit would make them more comfortable the other 99% of the time I'm wearing them. That being said, I've worn them on 8-hour car drives, even having 2 other pairs to switch to, if these got to be too annoying. They never did.I'd buy them again.

My favorite sunglasses; this is my third pair.
The bifocal line is the perfect size. These are great for those of us who don’t need prescription lenses but do use readers’ glasses. When I ride my Trikke, I can see my the data from my sports tracking app on my phone mounted to the handlebars. I can also see everything at every other distance. These are well-made and I get compliments on my “cool sunglasses.” I bought my first pair 4 years ago, when I needed 1.5. Last year, I bought them with strength 2 on the bifocal. Sadly, a very rambunctious kitten got a hold of them and separated one of the lenses from the frame. I ordered a new pair right away and continue to feel that these are the best wraparound bifocal sunglasses available. Unless there’s another “kitten incident,” I will buy my next pair when my age requires a stronger strength.

Nice, and a decent value.
They are comfortable, stylish and lightweight. The magnified ("reader") I'm lucky if I get two years out of a pair if sunglasses so the value part is important to me. The magnifying part is the right size and location (and an integral part of the lens, unlike some), so functional without drawing attention to itself. I have bought several pairs and will probably buy another if they continue to be available. The reason for taking a star off is that they are somewhat delicate and I have snapped an arm off, taking a piece of the lens with the joint.

Good fit for small woman, only slightly oversized
I have used these bifocals for 4 seasons of fly fishing. They offer great protection, and I can tie on a size 22 fly without struggling, and the bifocal does not hinder my distance view. They do not fit like my 50mm everyday glasses, but they don't look bad, especially since they are for fishing. The only thing that I have found that may be an issue this year, it that it appears a film layer on the lenses is starting to peel away around the inside edges. I have kept them in the nice case they came with when not in use, and though I may not have been as careful with them as my daily glasses, they do not show any signs of scratches. I would say they are holding up very well. Maybe it's just time to buy another pair :)

I have bought these sunglasses two times. The first ...
I have bought these sunglasses two times. The first one broke into pieces right in the middle of the right len frame. I thought maybe it was just a freak pair so I was gullable enough to spend the money on another pair - only to find the 2nd pair did the exact same thing on my first day of a 14 day cruise!! These were not warn much as I live in the North.

great quality for distance, some issues with reader window
Product is good and clear. Here's the challenge it would seem with polarized, reader sunglasses (these are +1.5 for the small reader window). I purchased at Costco reader sunglasses which were C$20 for 2. They are great, but not polarized and the quality of the plastic lens does reduce visibility a tad, but they are sports wraparound (they have various types) and extremely useful for cycling etc, as you can read the bike computer or look at stuff close up without difficulty. They are dark and reduce your vision however, hence my search for better quality, polarized. These arrived quickly, are lighter coloured and are competitively priced for the market. But the reader window is smaller than the el-cheapo Costco version and not nearly as clear, it's kind of like looking through water a bit, but is workable for sure. So what you lose in distance lens quality with the cheaper version, you gain in reader quality compared to the Coyote version. I suspect this is a function of the higher quality polarized lens and is unavoidable. I will purchase other Coyote versions and would recommend them, but am now aware of the limitations of the higher quality polarized lens for the reader window when compared to the cheaper (but perfectly usable) versions.

Great fit and quality
Got the reader sunglasses today. Excellent fit. I have a large head and these worked very well. Tried them under the motorcycle helmet, no pressure over my ears. No slipping around when the helmet comes on and off. A thicker quality polycarbonate lens. Optic readers are clear and well spaced. Going for a second pair. Super fast shipping. Thanks Coyote!

Perfect fit.
Very comfortable in every situation and easy focus for reading. They have a strange plastic odor but it will dissipate in time.
