Sax True Flow Water Soluble Block Printing Ink - 5 Ounce Tube - Black

Good ink, works well, drys fast (a little too fast sometimes).

I purchased this ink to make some block prints. The tube is so much more convenient than the tub kind! Product consistency is good and coverage is perfect. Being that it's water based, it washes off very easily. The dried ink on my paper rubs off a little when touched though.

These inks are wonderfully priced and provide the bright bold colors I was looking for. A little goes a long way and cleanup is fairly easy. Would buy again.

Straight up just not as good as Speedball. Really thick and has to be thinned which takes a while. It’s also a pain in the butt to clean up even though it’s supposed to be water based. If you’re looking for a cheap substitute to Speedball, I don’t know if this is the right one for you. If you’re looking to test out some different consistencies and types of ink, maybe give this a shot.

I love this block printing ink. I use it with my high school students for printmaking as well as my own printmaking projects. The ink is thick and prints well. I would recommend this ink to anyone interesting in printmaking.
