Perfect!
As any beader will know... beads collections just grow when you're not looking at them. I had small bags of beads everywhere and then would lose track of what I had. But then I bit the bullet and realized that the small containers I was buying, that would hold 8 or 12 different beads, were just not cutting it and I bought 2 of these, each of which has 32 seperate compartments. I love the no spill and the fact that the dividers don't move. I know the philosophy behind the moving dividers (you can create larger sections at will) but the reality is that the beads just start slipping around and you get mixed up mess. So while this box is big, it still fits into my cupboard easily, and it I now have a place for everything and everything in it's place. I bought 2 of them at the same time, and should need arise, I'll happily buy a third, I think they are excellent value and easy to use. happy beading! Edited to add I have since bought another 2 of these and am enjoying using them very much (those beads, they just keep reproducing in the corners!)

Most Meticulous Review EVER
Jewellery making for six years without a case... what was I thinking? My bead inventory includes seed beads (10/0, 8/0, 6/0), Swarovski Crystals (SS9 - SS20), resin charms, Czech glass beads, pearls, gemstone chips and many faux pearls (4mm - 10mm). Let me stress to you: This organizer is NOT ideal for big beads. Anything MORE than 1/2 inch or 1 cm wide will not benefit from the space, because you will be filling a lot of the compartments just to store them, rendering the whole "32 compartments" idea useless. This box works best, and beautifully so for small - medium beads. As a guide, I've compiled the following: Comfortably holds 360 or more seed beads (6/0) per compartment Comfortably holds 40 resin roses (12 mm or 1/2 inch) per compartment Snugly holds 18 mesh beads (8mm or 1/2 inch) per compartment Snugly holds 80 - 100 faux pearls (7mm or 1/4 inch) per compartment I wouldn't recommend this organizer to those looking to store their findings. Reason for this being that my findings tend to be on the long side (e.g. eye pins, head pins, had to be placed diagonally to fit) AND ended up filling very little of each compartment (e.g. 60 eye pins, head pins, are narrow and lightweight... thus only filling 1/6 of luxurious compartment space). Unless you have a wholesale amount of findings, this isn't the right organizer for you. Try something shallower, but buy this organizer for your beads. I tested the No Spill feature, and yes! It really works. I tilted my organizer full of 8/0, 10/0 seed beads upside down, shook it sideways, and NO SPILL. Even when dropped, lid stays closed and beads stay safe. Lid makes a audible snap sound when opened/closed, so you always know when your organizer is actually shut. Another huge advantage of this organizer is that it's lightweight. Aside from my organizer filled with maybe 800 faux pearls, the rest of the organizers filled with regular beads stayed satisfyingly light. I highly recommend this organizer to any beads enthusiast, no matter the skill. Though advanced users may need to order more - I purchased 4, but wish I'd bought 6. Volume measurement for reference: Compartment size: 4.1 cm x 5 cm x 3.3 cm (1.5 inch x 2 inch x 1.2 inch) 2 smaller compartments size: 4.1 cm x 3.5 cm x 3.3 cm (1.5 inch x 1.6 inch x 1.2 inch)

STILL THE BEST . . .
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE. I had several of these before I saw an organizer that had individual, removable containers of various sizes in it, and I decided that might be better. It was very difficult to open the "inner" containers and I donated it and bought more of these. They are practical, sturdy and inexpensive, and the bottoms of the sections are not flat so there are no tight bends to try to extract small items from. Out of 8, I've had only one with a defect - it could not be snapped closed again after I finally got it open. It was not worth troubling Amazon with a return because with a knife I was able to trim off some excess plastic from a slight molding problem. Things like that happen in manufacturing and I would not have returned it to a store either - I would have handled it the same way. It was a minor problem.

good if you have small amounts of lots of different beads; you can see what's inside through the lid
I ordered three of these to hold beads I've received in subscription boxes. I filled them up in under an hour of sorting so I just ordered five more. Needless to say, I am happy with them. The compartments are on the small side and they are not movable/rearrangeable. I am OK with that -- in fact, that's what I was looking for. (Most are about the same size. The two right near the handle/closure are smaller.) The lid has indentations or grooves in it where the tops of the dividers fit, which prevents beads from sliding around when this is closed. I am not using these for seed beads, but rather gemstone rounds, crystals, charms, etc. I don't want to say you *can't* use this for seed beads, because I haven't tried, but do proceed with caution. I mostly got these to store beads that are not in use, so that I can take a quick look and actually see what I have. When working, I transfer the particular beads I am using to smaller containers to avoid the possibility of accidentally dumping everything. (This probably won't spill when closed, if you handle it with care. But when it is open, all bets are off!) The plastic is translucent, nearly transparent, and you can easily see what is in each compartment without even opening the lid. The "handle" advertised in the product description is more of an indentation where you might put your fingers. I prefer to carry these with both hands, flat. All of the ones I got were in good shape, with no cracks or damage, and all of them shut securely. There was no plastic or chemical smell emanating from these, even though they are shrink-wrapped. The label you see on top in the main product image is just a sheet of paper, it is not glued to the product. Anyway, if you have small amounts of lots of different beads, findings, and charms, this might be just what you need. It is certainly working well for me!

Counter sorting tray for wargames
This is the perfect item for my need. I use it to keep the force pools for world in flames counters sorted. Each major power gets one and there is almost enough for every force pool to have it's own bin. The the plastic dividers do not move is a plus for my purposes. It also helps that the bottom of each bin is curved and not flat. It helps pick up counters because you can slide them off the bottom if need be. This is the perfect counter tray for true grognards.

Great for storing the plastic letters for my letterboard!
I bought this to store the letters in for letterboard. It fits A-Z, two compartments for numbers: 0-4, & 5-9. There are a total of 32 “compartments” or what I call tiny “boxes”. Two of the boxes are on the smaller size. It pushes closed tightly but has no latch. It is a heavy plastic, I am impressed by the quality. This works perfectly for my application and I am very pleased. I purchased alphabet stickers for each compartment so I can identify each letter easily.

Back to perfect - yippee!
Ok so I bought 2 of these the other day after having received a few that weren’t up to par. I’ve been using these exclusively for years and have over a dozen for my beads. They were the only organizers that stayed closed and had permanent compartments (save yourself some hellish reorganizing and skip the ones With removable slots). Then the 3-for a bargain price were being sold on amazon and I pounced. Well, they wouldn’t stay closed and I ended up really disappointed and playing 52-million bead pick up. When I saw they were $11 each I was annoyed BUT it seems they are now back to being reliable and make the happy “snappy” sound I missed so much. Bottom line: spend the extra few bucks and buy these. You can get them cheaper in the store, but if you are in a quarantined beading frenzy, go for it. Prior update I wrote the review below before my last purchase of these. These used to be amazing. But the last time I bought them the latch wouldn’t close. I’m not sure but I think they aren’t darice brand anymore and if they are, the factory is slacking. Also, I used to be able to buy 3 of them for the price them are selling single ones now. I’ll get the real ones at Walmart from now on. Original glowing review I have 12 of these - at least - for my beads and findings. I also have a ridiculous number of other storage boxes, but these are the best. If you are anything like me and tend to drop things often, and also, if the things you tend to drop are super small and then impossible to locate, you’re going to want some of these. Also, if you are anything like me it may take you a while to learn your lesson, but I have learned to make sure to hear the “click” of the lid before putting these down. Once I started making sure these puppies were actually closed, I have dropped them so many times and all my beads have stayed put. Miraculous. Like seriously. I drop. I cringe. I look. And then while in a fit of shocked joy, I do a happy dance. Just buy some. And don’t bother with those adjustable ones with the removable slots. They will just make you mad (if you’re anything like me). Just get these.

Best Organizers for Small Items
I have tried every type of container for my jewelry components, and these are the best boxes I have found to date. The size is great because I can fit a lot of beads or findings in each box. And when they say, "no spill," they mean it! The lids snap locked, and the divider compartments fit into grooves in the lids so that the beads or findings won't migrate from compartment to compartment if the box is dropped or shaken. So, for storage of small components, these boxes are A-1! In a perfect world, however, I would redesign the box to be used as a box to house a complete jewelry project. I would have four of the compartments combined in a square, so I could keep a spool of wire in with the project I am working on. Also, a "double sized" compartment would allow me to keep my headpins or focal beads in the same project box as smaller beads and components. But, even though I can't house a complete project fitting all components together in one Darice box, the boxes are still fabulous for holding and organizing the majority of my beads and findings. Highly recommended.
