Phobya Adapter 4 Pin Molex (12 V) to 4 Pin PWM 30 cm Black Cable Fan Cable and Adapter

Some fans come with a 4pin connector as default, and most of the time, motherboards and PSUs don't have such connector. They also are not compatible with 3pin connectors, so then you have to get something like this. This worked just fine i was able to connect my fan and then connect it to my plethora of 4pin molex connectors and good to go. Unfortunately you are not able to manage fan speed if you don't have a fan controller or is not directly plugged in to MoBo. Not being the problem of the connector, the fans on default speed were really loud. But at least i have some cooling thanks to this adapter.

Works directly as intended. Had some issue with a few 4 pin Molex connections but I assume that has more to do with my PSU rather than the product. Can carry a good amount of power as I currently have it hooked up to a 4 fan controller with no issues. Great product.

It fit my need to power some additional fans in my rack case.

I needed to add an additional fan to my case and I simply had no more connections on the motherboard so this Molex connector worked well. I have many of these connectors but for 3-pin fans but all of my fans are 4-pin. Glad I was able to find this. Delivery time was great. Regards, Mike.

Bought two. One works flawlessly, the other was completely worthless. One of the pins of the 4-pin PWM connector was not properly mounted, and shifted in and out as you moved the cable. The only way I was able to get it working was if I held the red wired pin in place. Which, obviously, is unacceptable. It's such a small, inconsequential thing too. I can't imagine anyone going out of their way to return the thing in the packaging it came in, so I won't be doing it either. Hoping to hear back from the manufacturer on getting a working product to replace it.

Not the product i needed but from what i could tell it was a good product just didnt work for what i needed it for

My Cooler Master PSU didn't come with the necessary adapter to connect my Noctua NH-d15 directly instead of to the motherboard. This adapter worked perfectly, and now my fans aren't limited by onboard PWM. Would buy again, if I needed to. No complaints.

Product only has 2 pins, it FITS a 4-pin connection but it definitely won’t give you fan speed control or anything of the sort. Definitely a last resort purchase at best.
