Nice Tool
This jig is a handy little doodad. I used it to make some brackets out of braising rod (which is pretty sturdy) and it handled the task easily. The only drawback is that you MUST mount this thing to something before you try to use it. It comes with a couple of wood screws to fasten it down. I screwed it to a chunk of 2X4 and then clamped the wood in my bench vise. However, you could screw it directly to a bench or table with no problem. The jig has slits into which you can fit varying degrees of wire thicknesses to create sharp bends and the ends are shaped for pointed and rounded bends. The center section has removable pins that can act as both holders and fulcrums for the wire being bent. Simply position them as needed to fit your application. I had planned on building a jig to do my bending, but for a few bucks this jig fits the bill.

Good tool, could use more options.
Solid jig, I wish there were more curve bending options. Pegs work well, but don't offer much control under 1" diameter. The package states that the jig was made in japan. The metallic paint flecks off VERY easily. This isn't yet a major issue, but this can cause scratching/surface imperfections in the wire. For reference, I used this to bend coat hangers. The right angle/simple bends worked very well.

Great for bending bike spokes 90 degrees.
Did some 90 degree bends in some bicycle spokes to be part of a rack for hanging violins. Clamped the bender in my little craftsman 3” vise, it worked great. Haven’t tried any other type of bends. Not sure what gauge a bike spoke would be, but they are pretty tough.

Warning: Only accommodates up to 3/32" wire.
I would have given it 5 stars as it's a nice tool, but the desription says "Designed to bend steel and softer wire up to 1/8"" and this is *incorrect* if you are trying to use the pegs to bend eyelets. In that case, it only accommodates wire up to 3/32" in diameter. Extra disappointed cause it is 1/8" wire I purchased it for. I made it work, but it was an extra pain in the keister.
