True to size and color. Fit my grandson perfectly. Ordered another pair in the cream color. He says they are very comfortable.

These are probably the most well-constructed, durable uniform pants my son has had. A lot of reviews indicated that they ran too slim. My son wears slims in all his pants and always does best with adjustable waistbands, like these have. The Dickies do not seem overly slim at all, but fit him well. He is seven years old, in first grade, weighs around 48 pounds and does very well in the size 8 pants that I bought him, although they are a bit long. They look nicer and hold their color better than any other navy pants he has worn. The reinforced knees are great. One caution--I did not expect the small Dickies logo on the back of the pants. We are getting away with it at school, but if your school is strict on that, be aware that it is there.

My son has to wear dress pants to school and is always wearing out the knee. I gave these a try and LOVED them. These pants are thick, durable and have a reinforced knee. After several months of my 8 year old climbing on playgrounds, diving in grass and skidding on the floor in them, there are still no holes! My son also has trouble with traditional buttons, so the slide hook made it easy for him. He is very tall and thin, so I found them actually to be the right length, but were slightly big. The waste is adjustable, so it was not problem. It seems other have complained about them being small, so if your worried, you can order one size bigger and tighten by adjusting the waste band. I have ordered several other pairs and they are great.I did also try the pleated pair, but they were not adjustable and were too big for my son, so I sent it back and got another flat front pair.

These are great pants, they are of nice quality and have good color saturation. But...after reading the reviews from all the moms who said that they fit more snugly than expected, I was hoping that these would fit my tall, super skinny boy, and they didn't. All the adjustable elastic waists in the world couldn't have made this work. So to all the other moms of tall, super skinny boys, these aren't the answer to your prayers. I'm sorry. I was hoping we'd all be able to rejoice together in the awesomeness that is pants that are long enough and small enough for the tall, super skinny kid, but no dice.However, if you have a boy of average proportions, you probably can't go too wrong with these. As I said above, they have a good color saturation, look to be of good quality material and workmanship, and they have the buttonhole elastic that makes for easier fitting. I gave them 4 stars on the quality, they probably deserve a 5, but it's hard to give the full 5 when you don't know how they'll wear when you didn't wash them and are planning to return them because they didn't fit. In the meantime, if someone finds pants that fit a boy who's waist/hips are more at home in, say a 4T, but needs the length of size 10s, let me know, because I'd definitely chase that unicorn down.

These are just as expected. They are very stiff though, so be warned if you are not familiar with Dickies pants. I will wash these to soften them up before having my 5 year old wear them. I purchased a size 6 for him and the size is just right, but he has no room to spare (he still has that leftover toddler belly). The reinforced knees are nice, but we haven't had the issue of torn knees on pants yet so that's not a feature we need. I just appreciate the overall durability of Dickies pants as they are wash and wear and it takes many, many washes before they fade (he'll outgrow them before they fade).

Bought these for my toddler for a more causal setting beach wedding. I think they are really cute slacks. Very well made too. They have the elastic band to tighten the waist inside, which I’m very thankful for. (Without that I would have had to return because he’s to skinny. He wears a 4T and I bought the size 4. They are just a little bigger then a normal 4T but he can pull them off and hopefully have more occasions to wear them for. I def recommend for the price.

You can't go wrong with these pants! The durability of the pants, along with the price, and the unique color provide a win all the way around. Definitely recommend. They fit as expected and can be worn casually or as dress pants.
