Shockingly poor quality
Obviously new boots (adequately wrapped and packaged in a box that appeared never to have an open before) arrived an extraordinarily cheap quality pair of children’s riding boots.Outside:Good-The style is adorable. Soles adequate for equestrian use.Bad- Composite leather is too thin to protect feet & esp toes! Interior side of upper and tongue of boot are fraying upon arrival.Inside:Frayed fabric lines the shoe. No insole. Poor quality materials.

Soles detached after four rides
I rarely write a review but felt I should in this case. I wasn’t sure how “in” two riding my daughter would be, so I opted for these inexpensive paddock boots. These boots literally fell apart after four rides, the soles became detached from the bottom of the boot. I’m now ordering new ones but I am going to spend a little more on Ariats which I know will last.

Boots like this in a Dover store run between 50 and ...
Perfectly acceptable schooling boots for small children. My daughter is about a 4-4.5, I ordered a 5 to give her room to grow. They're true to size, and definitely tough enough for the barn. Boots like this in a Dover store run between 50 and 150 dollars, so these are a great value.

Really stiff and uncomfortable.
Okay. So I bought these for costumes because they look like children’s Victorian boots. I know they’re supposed to be equestrian boots and since I don’t know a lot about that, I will just say for COSTUME Sake, they are incredibly stiff. The kids were very uncomfortable, they gave blisters and hurt their feet. So I ended up buying different shoes for the kids. But they look GREAT. HAHAHAHHA.

So-So Quality and sizing way off
There's a distinctive chemically smell as soon as I opened the box. I also knew they'd be way too small the moment I opened the box. My kid is a size 5 through and through, no matter what shoe/boot. But these were very tight in the toes and way too short. I would not recommend, or I would recommend sizing up which isn't an option for me in this case.

Great quality and fit
Love them! They look and feel great! Inside has great orthopedic support so I was really happy went a half size larger than what my daughter normally wears. They fit perfectly I would recommend for all English style riders.

Beginners.
For the money, it's not a bad boot. My only complaint is the metal prongs that hold the lace hole grommets are a bit sharp, and on our pair, some of them were poking out. I squished them back down, so it wasn't a big deal, but they're still rough. So I took some clear nail polish to seal it from scratching my daughters leg through the sock. All in all, I can't complain too much. Sturdy boot. If she continues with riding, I will likely invest in a higher quality pair though.

Disappointed with quality.
Purchased as first set of riding shoes for my daughter and after a couple weeks the soles came apart from both shoes. Amazon was quick to send a replacement pair but not feeling confident the second pair will last.

Great for pronated feet!
These are fantastic boots!!! Our daughter has pronated feet and the doctor recommended these. Medical shoes for pronated feet are extremely expensive and require a prescription, these are a third the cost and no prescription. We have been using these for the last five years and her feet have greatly improved. These are durable and lasted through 4 children! They remain firm and provide excellent ankle support. I don't know how they stand up for riding, as they were used for everyday shoes. Funny enough, our doctor told us, these are the kinds of shoes all children should be wearing anyway. Great product!!!
