A Game-Changer in Home Security
I recently installed the CMR9 sensor as part of my home security system, and I'm blown away by its performance! Not only does it look sleek and modern, but it's also incredibly effective at detecting even the slightest movements. The sensor's compact design makes it easy to place discreetly in any room, and its wireless connectivity ensures seamless integration with my existing security setup. But what really impresses me is the CMR9's accuracy and reliability. It consistently picks up movement without false alarms, giving me peace of mind knowing my home is secure. Overall, I'm thoroughly satisfied with the CMR9 sensor. Its combination of sleek design, ease of use, and top-notch performance makes it an excellent addition to any home security system. Highly recommended!

Great value, great instructions, easy to install.
Fits on standard single gang j-boxes. Easy programming and testing. Great quality product. Handles a decent sized load and has a great range of motion detection.

Great unit but there's a trick to setting it up
This is a good device from a legitimate electrical company from what I can tell. Install is easy. No polarity so it's painless. The programming is not the easiest thing in the world but it's not hard, you just have to understand the blinking light concept and pay attention to the pauses and blinks. It's a little confusing at first. The only thing I needed to program was the delay even though you can program a lot with this. It took me 3 days to program the delay. I googled. I YouTubed. Could not get my setting to stick. It was driving me nuts. I finally resigned myself to look at the directions for the 20th time and looked at the other settings. Voila. Here is the trick (the manufacturer should add this to the instructions as STEP ONE): In order for the delay to work, the first thing you MUST DO is change the minimum time on setting. Mine was set to 15 minutes by default. Who knew? So.. BEFORE YOU PROGRAM THE DELAY, go into the minimum on mode and change it to something LESS than the delay you want to use. I made mine ZERO because my delay is 30 seconds. After I changed the Minimum time on setting, my delay worked perfectly. No way a 30 second delay is going to work if the minimum time on is 15 minutes! Also, this is a 360 degree sensor. I wanted to limit the sensor so when I was in the bathroom, the sensor (in the master closet without a door) wouldn't activate and would only turn on as I walked into the closet. Simple solution: put a little electrical tape over the sensor as necessary to shield the motion. Works great. Use white electrical tape for 2 extra style points. After I figured out the position of the tape and knew it worked, I designed and 3D printed a little hood that I glued on. Looks factory and works perfectly every time I step in the same spot. I almost think they should include something like this in the box as it's kind of necessary in many instances.

Works great in my 2-car garage
This item is not cheap and has capabilities I'll never use but I bought it because the performance claims sounded good and the reviews were good. My 2-car garage is 25' wide x 20' deep x 9' high with the interior entrance to the house up a 4' set of steps in a section with a higher overhead. I mounted it to a rafter in the center of the garage. I wired it in parallel with a light switch. Using the advertised coverage pattern I understood why opening the interior door didn't trigger the motion sensor, so I removed one mounting screw and loosened the other so to tilt the sensor up in its view of the interior door and down in its view of the garage doors. Works great.

Good range and motion pickup.
Works great as a single device in any room. We have a large kitchen and it has two sensors originally in place. Had to learn the programming for this thing- because the defsult did not match the original devices. Not for beginners or the IMPATIENT INSTALLERS - if using more than 1 device in a room. But a quality product. Included directions are for a more advanced DIY installer or the real electricians types!

Motion Sensors
To help with electrical cost in garages or porches. Never worry about leaving a light on. I have placed all those lights on motion sensors. So far so good

Worked for me.
Used to control garage ceiling light. Easy install, didn’t mess with programming, goes on , on default 10 minutes, then goes off.

So far the only thing I am satisfied with on this CMR 10 is the sensitivity range. It sits on the 11 foot ceiling of my garage is is monitoring a large area and detects well. What disappoints me and subsequently me giving it a poor rating is the lack of information about this model. There is no comparison of features unless you download the installation instruction from their website listed for low voltage occupancy. The line voltage instructions does not show the comparison of features. I was replacing a Leviton ODC0S-I1W sensor which has photocell capability. i.e. does not turn on lights if there is ample natural light in the room. According to the comparison sheet, I need a "P" version which was not clear when I ordered this one. All this one does is turn the lights on or off on detection of occupancy regardless of natural light level. Not great for a garage if you are working in there with the door open during the day. You won't be saving any energy with this one.

I purchased but did not realize at the time, that this was a 24 volt AC supply. Connecting 120 volt would have fried the components, Thankfully I was carefull and noticed the power supply did not match my situation. Therefore I returned. If you purchased the power regulator, it might work for your application, unfortunatey it did not work for mine. Other that the price being high, it was fine.
