RB2140 Original Wayfarer Gradient Square Sunglasses

I'm not really sure what to say about these sunglasses. If you're already a Ray-Ban owner, then you know all about the product itself--Ray-Bans are durable, provide superior protection from the sun, and have prescription-grade lenses in them. I've wanted a nice pair of sunglasses all my life, and being a child of the 80's, I really wanted this style of sunglass (plus, I wanted a larger frame to protect the skin around my eyes from the sun). I made myself carry a pair of cheap sunglasses around for an entire year before I bought these to make sure I would be responsible with them. I honestly wasn't expecting how different these sunglasses are compared to every other pair I've owned in terms of protection from the sun and quality. You really do get what you pay for! These sunglasses are very solidly constructed and you will never be more comfortable being out in the sun than wearing a pair of these. I suffer from migraines, but if I have a migraine, I can always count on my Ray-Bans to get me in and out of the sunlight without any discomfort. As for these particular Ray-Bans, they are exactly as pictured. I get a lot of compliments on the turquoise color. I wasn't sure at first if I would enjoy wearing colorful sunglasses but now I wouldn't wear anything else. I highly recommend this product, it's totally worth it!

First of all I should let you know that I got the 50mm and they fit perfectly as expected. I would suggest that you try the different sizes before you purchase one but for me the 50mm was the best. I have a non-polarized one which seems to work well when it comes to filtering out the light, and you cant really complain about the construction quality of the glasses. They benefit from a superb construction quality. I basically love them but dont really wear them around everyday, for my walking trips or just driving around the city I use the cheaper sunglasses I keep around the house/car. But overall they are very good glasses with great reputation and style. Nothing to complain about.

Well i received the box yesterday and when I opened the it seemed a litte bit damaged. The glasses are ok, they have no scratch or things like that , but the RB label on the left side of the glasses, keep me thinking about its originality. Two weeks ago i bought i fake pair and when I went to the optic shop, they told me that was very 'rude-made' because you actually could feel the label like it was maded by a sharp object, this happens again with these glasses, I can feel the label 'scratch' from behind the glass. So I'm not pretty sure if a real one or not.I will carry them to the optic again (2nd time, buying fake stuff) to see what happens. UPDATE: FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE THEY WERE A GOOD REPLCA BUT IN COMPARISON WITH THE ORIGINAL RAYBAN'S THEY SEEMED BARBIE-PLASTIC! I'M REALLY ANGRY WITH THIS SELLER AND WITH AMAZON, SELLING FAKE STUFF, AND STEALING MONEY. I DON'T RECOMEND YOU BUYING GLASSES FROM THIS SELLER, EVEN THE CASE, BROKE AFTER TWO OPENINGS! I LIVE IN COLOMBIA SO ITS PRETTY HARD TO REFUND THE ITEM AND IS EXPENSIVE AS WELL. IT'S REALLY BAD, IT GIVES A BAD IMAGE TO AMAZON. SO THAT'S IT I LOST MY MONEY.

Just got my RB2140 Ray Ban Wayfarers in the mail today, after having lost my Wayfarer II's in the airport. I hope whoever finds them appreciates them as much as I did - for me to keep a pair of sunglasses for six years without losing or breaking them was a record. My new Wayfarers have larger, green lenses, non-polarized, with black frames. The Wayfarer II's I had were not polarized, either, and it wasn't a problem. At some point I had bought a decent pair of Wayfarer knockoffs to keep in the car for the days I forgot my shades, and I will continue to use them in situations where I might lose my Ray Bans (again!). The Ray Bans, however, are going to take some getting used to. The retro lenses are bigger and look completely different than what I am used to seeing on my face. It's hard to convince myself that the knockoffs aren't the real Wayfarers and the new Wayfarers I have aren't the knockoffs. I had been wearing Wayfarer knockoffs for years until my wife bought me a pair of the genuine article for our anniversary, and the knockoffs always had the larger lenses, but after six years with the Wayfarer II's they look quite a bit different. So I guess what I am trying to say is if you absolutely want the retro look, these are for you. If you want a nice pair of utilitarian shades that are sturdy, hard to scratch, hard to damage, and a little more modern looking, you might want to take a look at the Wayfarer II's. Me? I am going to wear my new Wayfarers when driving or hanging out, as long as I am sure I won't lose them. I am sure I will get used to the retro look.

I love these Ray Bans! The design is trendy and not the norm which is great if you want something that stands out! They fit great and I feel like a rockstar in them! This is my 3rd pair of Ray Bans, I have bought some from the ray ban web site and some on here, and I will definitely be buying more from these vendors they ship super fast and the product came with all of it's papers, and was packaged in a decorative box and then came with the leather case and glasses cleaner cloth. I would recommend these to all my friends and will defiantly buy from here again! Thanks for a great, easy online experience!
